Workplace Inclusion

Using Diversity to Offer Our Customers Effective and Unbiased Solutions

The Aerospace Corporation is committed to being an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.

We believe that a diverse workforce creates an environment in which unique ideas are developed and differing perspectives are valued, which produces superior customer solutions.

Inclusion and Equal Opportunity (IEO)

Aerospace’s IEO office advises management and employees on diversity and inclusion best practices, and ensures Aerospace effectively practices Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action. Its mission is to assist the corporation with attracting, employing, developing, and retaining diverse talent while ensuring that every employee receives access to a level playing field regarding all personnel practices and conditions of employment.

Aerospace Diversity Action Committee (ADAC)

ADAC is comprised of management appointees and officers of eight Aerospace affinity groups representing African-American, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Asian-Pacific American, Latino/Hispanic, disabled, lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender, military veterans, and women employees.

ADAC is responsible for reviewing, advising, and making recommendations to the IEO office and the Executive Council regarding programs, policies, practices, goals, and other workplace-related diversity and inclusion issues. It provides the representatives of our diverse corporate population the opportunity to discuss and develop relevant activities and serves as a valuable mechanism for broadening communication among the affinity groups, providing a forum for input on issues of concern to employees and the corporation.
