Department of Defense regulations and Aerospace corporate policy require that individuals with access to classified material have security clearances issued under government regulations. All Aerospace employees working in organizations with technical responsibilities (Engineering and Technology Group, Enterprise Information Services, National Systems Group, National Intelligence Operations, Space Systems Group, Space Launch Operations, Space Program Operations, Civil and Commercial Operations, Systems Planning, Engineering, and Quality, and Strategic Space Operations) are required to apply for and maintain at least a Secret clearance.
