Department of Defense regulations and Aerospace corporate policy require that individuals with access to classified material have security clearances issued under government regulations. All Aerospace employees working in organizations with technical responsibilities (Engineering and Technology Group, Enterprise Information Services, National Systems Group, Space Systems Group, Civil and Commercial Operations, and Systems Planning, Engineering, and Quality) are required to apply for and maintain at least a Secret clearance.
