Frequently Asked Questions about the Application Process

  1. Where can I see all current job opportunities?

    All open positions with Aerospace are posted on our careers portal. You may search for available jobs, join the Aerospace talent community, and start the process of applying for a job on this site. Please do not submit your resume/CV directly through the “contact us” option.

  2. What should I do if I cannot find an opportunity that matches my skills?

    If there isn’t a job posting that meets your skill set or preferences, we hope you’ll still join our talent community. In so doing, your information will be available to our talent acquisition team for consideration for future opportunities. In addition, you can create a job agent that will send you automatic emails if a position becomes available that meets your job interests.

  3. Why do I need to setup a new account if I’ve already created one?

    On August 8, 2016, we moved to a new system that was unable to import our existing accounts. We apologize for any inconvenience.

  4. Does The Aerospace Corporation offer internships?

    Yes, information about summer internships can be found on our Summer Internship page. Opportunities for college students and recent graduates are also posted on our Career pages. To find these openings, click on the drop-down menu and select the College Students tab.

  5. Do you pay your interns?

    All student positions are paid, unless your sponsoring program or organization prohibits a salary.

  6. Does Aerospace participate in career events?

    Yes. You can learn about upcoming career events by selecting the Career Fairs link on our website. If you are a student or recent graduate, you may also check with your school’s career guidance office to see if an Aerospace recruiting professional has scheduled an upcoming visit.

  7. What happens after I apply for a job?

    Once you’ve completed the online process, your information will be made available to our talent acquisition team. They will compare your skills and experience with the requirements of the position for which you have applied. You will be contacted if you are selected for consideration. Your information will also be maintained in our applicant tracking system for future consideration.

  8. What is the status of my application?

    Once you have applied for a job at Aerospace, you will be able to track the status of your application by clicking the Job Management tab and selecting Jobs Applied.

  9. My school is not listed, what should I do?

    From the drop-down menu, verify that the location (country and state) of your school is correct. If your school is not on our list, select the “Other” value and then enter your school name in the field specified.

  10. Can I complete the application process on my phone or tablet?

    While parts of our system are mobile compatible, we are not fully mobile optimized yet. The application process can be completed on tablets but not on phones. We plan to have a fully mobile application process in the future.

  11. I created an account on your site but the system does not recognize my login credentials.

    At the beginning of August 2016, Aerospace transitioned to a new career portal. If you created your account prior to August 1, 2016, you will need to create a new account. We apologize for any inconvenience.

  12. What if I’m told a record already exists under the email address I’m trying to register?

    If the email address you’re using already exists in our system, it is likely you have already created an account. If so, please use the “Forgot Password” link to reset your password.

  13. What should I do if I forgot my password?

    To reset your password, enter your email address and click “Forgot password.” If an account matches the email address you entered, you will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password. Each time you reset your password, all previous password reset links in emails will be disabled.

  14. What if I have a browser error?

    System errors can be caused by a number of issues. To remedy a system error you need to completely close your Internet browser. You can then reopen it and return to the careers site to continue with your profile submission.

    If you use your Internet browser’s back arrow it may also cause a system error, so please do not use the back arrow when working in our system.

    If you experience errors, your Internet browser security settings may be too high. Change the settings to a lower level and clear your temporary Internet files. This should clear up the issue.
