Network Routers

Network routers present an area of vulnerability, but a separate verification stream can be used to ensure that routers and the information they transfer can be trusted. Satellites can provide this verification stream. Individual networks send information to a central node concerning the Internet Protocol addresses they host and their connections. This information is verified and sent back to the entire network through a satellite broadcast channel. Subscriber networks listen to this channel to receive a verified set of routing information and form a local repository of routing information.
